Following Trump’s stunning allegation that Obama wiretapped Trump Tower in October of 2016, prior to the presidential election, numerous Democrats and media pundits have come out with scathing accusations that Trump is mentally disturbed, or have claimed they have no idea what he is talking about.
The most apt example of this came from Ben Rhodes, “the single most influential voice shaping American foreign policy aside from POTUS himself” according to the New York Times, who arrogantly disregarded Trump’s accusation, insisting that “No President can order a wiretap. Those restrictions were put in place to protect citizens from people like you.” He also said “only a liar” could make the case, as Trump suggested, that Obama wiretapped Trump Tower ahead of the election.

The same man was quoted in the New York Times Magazine deriding the D.C. press corps and boasting of how he created an “echo chamber” to market the administration’s foreign policy.
Once again Rhodes is deliberately lying here. Obama was able to conduct spying on private citizens via associated FISA court, under which the wiretap of Donald Trump would have been granted, as it pertained specifically to Trump’s alleged illicit interactions with Russian entities which were proven to be false.
(1) Notwithstanding any other law, the President, through the Attorney General, may authorize electronic surveillance without a court order…
In June 2016 Obama’s FBI under the pretense of concerns about private server in Trump Tower that may be connected to Russia banking, denyed a warrant by FISA (extremely rare as this has only happened 0.3 percent in the history of FISA). Narrowing the charge five months later, the FBI were granted a warrant; illegally using its national-security authority to continue a criminal investigation after determining it lacked evidence of crimes. This second attempt was granted as reported by former British MP Louise Mensch
Edward Snowden’s exposure of the NSA demonstrated all too clearly, is how frequently the NSA and FISA court would make US citizens collateral damage. To be sure, many pointed out the fact that Fox News correspondent James Rosen was notoriously wiretapped in 2013 when the DOJ was investigating government leaks. The Associated Press was also infamously wiretapped in relation to the same investigation.
How strange then, that the Guardian have forgotten an article they published in early January, when news of the alleged anti-Trump dossier by former UK spy Chris Steele broke in January:
“The Guardian has learned that the FBI applied for a warrant from the foreign intelligence surveillance (Fisa) court over the summer in order to monitor four members of the Trump team suspected of irregular contacts with Russian officials. The Fisa court turned down the application asking FBI counter-intelligence investigators to narrow its focus. According to one report, the FBI was finally granted a warrant in October, but that has not been confirmed, and it is not clear whether any warrant led to a full investigation“
- Obama relaxes the NSA data sharing rules. This allows personal ill-gotten information to be leaked to the press.
- seven days before leaving Obama changed the order of succession in dept. of justice. This allowed him to shuffle his stooge Sally Yates in position, who was key in removing prime cabinet member General Flynn.
Now if Obama’s lawyer speak is a claim to be unaware of the spying let’s critically examine this premise:
Elements of his administration were wiretapping a political opponent just prior to a crucial election, with Trillions at stake via his fascistic Obamacare and secret globalist TPP trade deals, that President Trump openly stated was going to shut down. Would vital decisions like this be made without the president’s knowledge?
For a man claiming to be above spying on political opponents, Obama appears to contradict himself. Obama tapped Globalist Europhile Angela Merkel’s phone seven years ago. Do the deep state have compromising information on her? She appears to be steadfast in her destructive actions towards Germany despite international criticism and plunging popularity at home.
As the white house has asked congress to investigate the result will help Trump either way. In the rush to deny the spying took place, they will undoubtedly prove that there was no illegal connection between the Trump team and the Russian banking or government interests. If Obama is exposed, then Trump will be able to put an end to his continued efforts to undermine the Trump presidency.
Is this the fabled Trump 4d chess at work?
